True July Wedding

We've had about 3 weeks break from weddings, but we are back in the swing of things. Erin and Jeremy got married at the First Presbyterian Church of Ferguson, with their reception at the Lemp Mansion Grand Hall. It was just a little warm, to say the least. Erin and Jeremy's son, Augie, was the ring bearer for mommy and daddy's big day.

Erin chilling out before the ceremony.

Augie was so cute, he was in awe when he saw mommy in her dress.

We took pictures in Lafayette Park, which looked beautiful as usual. We don't do pictures there often, but they always turn out nice. It's like a hidden jewel in St. Louis, in the shadow of both Forest Park and Tower Grove Park.

Congrats, Erin and Jeremy (and Augie) !

What's His Name...?

Senior pics, yay! This is Logan...we did his session at Logan Chiropractic College. This wasn't my ingenious idea, it was Logan's. His mom wanted pictures of him by something saying "Logan", and look at that! There is a huge sign with his name on it. Like Ian said, we can never forget his name, since it's in a third of the images.

I would be happy to do sessions there again. I had no idea, but they have an expansive campus with ponds and lots of nature. Very nice.

Twice as Nice

These are the Newell girls. We did a session for their turning three months old. Watch out! They'll be on the move in no time. Grandma and Grandpa let us use their lovely home to do the pictures.

Happy, um...14th of July?

These are a few days late, but they are images that Ian took on the 4th of July. We went to the Kirkwood festivities and met up with some friends. Ian is not so much a fan of the fireworks, but he agreed to go if he could take pictures.

Art, Music and Cupcakes

Let me tell you, I have never been so happy that it didn't rain at a wedding! We had rain for Erin and Mike's engagement session, and I was going to feel so bad if it rained on their wedding too. Their wedding and reception were outside, at The Artists' Guild in Oak Knoll Park. Everything was very pretty, as you will see.

An idea I'm stealing for my own wedding, hehe...well sort of. I was thinking of pink shoes after seeing the July/Aug. Cover of BRIDES magazine. But seeing how it looked in real life sealed the deal.

Now I know Erin would strangle me if I didn't show off her Cupcake Bar. Everyone got to decorate their own cupcakes, so cute!

Karaoke time! Look at the passion and dedication...Erin and Mike sang their "unique" rendition of "Living On a Prayer", lol.

We had lots of fun with you guys, congratulations Erin and Mike!

Mommy's Little Princess

This was Leah and Jason's wedding which took place at the Bethalto Church of God, with the reception immediately following at the Gateway Convention Center in Collinsville. Jason not only got a beautiful bride, but a sweet daughter as well. Leah's daughter, Jasilyn, was presented into the church during the ceremony (she was of course asleep through the whole thing, lol).

Jasilyn has the prettiest long eyelashes!

I think everyone had a good time. There was lots of dancing, which is great.

Congrats to Leah and Jason...and Jasilyn!

We're on Facebook!
