Double Shoot Day

We had a beautiful day for shooting! I was very happy, considering some of the weekend days we've had lately.

PART 1: Samantha's Bat Mitzvah

We did some headshot-type portraits for her upcoming Bat Mitzvah, which we're photographing in June. These were done at the Shaare Emeth campus.

PART 2: The Kuntz Kids!

We went to Suson Park for their session, which was very crowded (I guess everyone had the same idea that day). Everyone has spring fever! Maggie seemed to have a lot of fun, and hopefully the boys don't hate me too much for making them take pictures :)

Hey Baby

I had another baby session, this time with baby Megan. She was an extremely good girl for me, so I think these turned out really sweet. What a pretty girl! I can't get over her big blue eyes.

It's Kaylee!

...No, she's not mine.

This is Kaylee Anne Navales! She is the brand new daughter of my longtime friends Kathleen and Edi. I photographed her baptism the other weekend as a gift. Isn't she adorable? I think she looks just like Edi, but who knows...in a month or two you know she will look completely different.

Congrats to Kaylee on her baptism...and on being a whole month old!

And So It Begins...

IT'S OFFICIAL: WEDDING SEASON HAS BEGUN.
This weekend was our first wedding of the season, with Susan and Kevin! We had a lot of fun with them. You could definitely tell everyone was having fun, which makes my job that much easier. I love when smiles look natural and real. The ceremony was at St. James the Greater, then we went to Susan and Kevin's house to get pictures with their dog McGuire. We took pictures at the ZOO sculpture, then at Columbo's Bar. The reception was at Orlando's.

I love the enthusiasm!
War protesters: We temporarily took over their protesting spot in front of the ZOO sculpture, so we got a picture with them.

Kevin singing to Susan: one of my favorite parts of their reception.

Congrats Susan and Kevin!

Amy & Steve's Engagement session

We went to Forest Park, where Amy and Steve first got engaged, to do their engagement session. We'll be doing their wedding in about a month! We had a good session...The rain luckily held out for us, and we made friends with some lovely ducks (even though I'm pretty sure they wanted food more than friendship). Here are some of my favorites from the session:
