New Additions - Part 2

Now this is OUR new baby! His name is Sam and he is almost 9 months old. He is super sweet and playful...and also quite handsome, don't you think? The first night we had him, he curled up on my stomach, with his head tucked under my chin and started purring...my heart melted right there. It's LOVE!

We got him from the Humane Society...we are big believers in adopting shelter animals. When we went it was pretty apparent that they were getting a little overwhelmed with the number of cats they had. If we had the ability, we would have gotten Sam a sibling as well.

Sam is our new unofficial "mascot".

Here he is, helping me with work already.

I LOVE the "milk mustache".

New Additions - Part 1

This is Ian's niece (and my soon-to-be-niece), Sula. We got to see her for the first time in person during Thanksgiving, which was so exciting! We had a mini photo shoot, just for fun. It's what we do...I know we need other hobbies ;p She's such a pretty model, we couldn't help ourselves.

Fairy Tale Ending...to the Season

Ahh, our last wedding of the season...

Cheryl and Micah were married in Edwardsville, IL. Their wedding and reception had a "fairy tale" theme, which was reflected in the decor as well as the spirit of the day. Cheryl and Micah are a very cute, loving couple and we enjoyed working with them. They also had probably the prettiest sunset that we've had to work with in a while!

Congrats you two!

S.E.N.I.O.R.

HA!...I'm caught up with posts! Well, for the time being.

This is Taylor. We did her Senior session at Laumeier Sculpture Park. The day was beautiful and Taylor, who is a really cool girl, was an excellent model. We got some fun stuff, and Taylor was super easy to work with. We also got a few family shots with Taylor's mom and dad.

Kiddos are Fun

Here are the Wirth kids! This is the second year we have done their portraits. It's so fun to see how fast kids grow up! We went to Bee Tree Park in South County and had lots of fun. I love working with these guys, they rock!

A Stroll Through Autumn

This is the Campbell family, Jenny, Aaron and Jessica...the first in a series of family sessions we've had. Talk about a cute family. We went to Bluebird Park in Ellisville, which I had never been to. The leaves were beautiful and there are lots of nice areas for pictures...we did a lot of walking and got a little dirty (like usual haha), so hopefully that was ok, lol.

Jessica did a great job being a model!

Photographer's Photographer

I'm ALMOST caught up...

Here are Laura and Jeremy. They got married at Calvary Church in Pittsfield, IL with their reception following in Jacksonville, IL at Hamilton's. Laura is starting a photography business of her own, so she had lots of ideas for me to use. She got to experience how weird it is, as a photographer, to be the one in front of the camera...so I feel for her. I will be there soon enough!

Laura is the queen of details...she loves them (as I do) and she had lots for us to play with!

Team Laura & Jeremy: There were little kids galore! These boys were ushers for the bridesmaids in the ceremony.

Congratulations Laura and Jeremy!

Fall Colors

Happy Halloween! These are a little late, so I apologize. I am trying to catch back up on posts...This is the engagement session of Deana and Mark. We did the session in Forest Park...but it is the side of Forest Park, near Kingshighway, that most people don't know about or ask to use for pictures...which is probably why I like it so much. I was so glad Deana and Mark we up for doing the session there.

I got the very first of the fall colors on this session...so pretty!

By the Zoo Sculpture.

See you two next year for the big day!

Fit for a King (or Queen)

Rose and Courtney are a very sweet couple. Their ceremony was at Woodlawn Chapel Presbyterian, in Ellisville, with the reception following at the Doubletree in Chesterfield. We had fun working with them and everyone seemed to have a really fun evening, which is always good to see.

Pretty flowers and cake!

Rose's brother gave Courtney a crown, which Rose slyly stole for herself...great moment.

Rose's dad was so cute. He is quite the dancer! He danced with all the girls.

Everything was lovely, congratulations you two!

We're on Facebook!
