Better with Age

Just for fun, and to scout things out, we went to the Museum of Transportation. It's actually mostly trains (they have one boat, one plane and a handful of cars...) so it should be called the Train Museum...but it was still neat to see, beside the inaccurate name. They are adding a large amount of land, so maybe they'll have more non-train transportation there.

They have all of these refurbished old trains in beautiful condition...but what do we go for? The rusty, gnarly ones that haven't had anything done to them in about 50+ years. They made for some cool, artistic shots.

Nothing Can Stop ME

Here is Kristin and Derek's wedding in Pacific, MO. The ceremony was is an old church, dating back to the Civil War era, and the reception was on Kristin's family farm.

I have to make a confession about this wedding...I was SICK as a dog! (Dun dun DUN!) I was alright in the morning, but before and during the reception I was not well AT ALL! That is a first for me. Now, not to worry! The pictures still turned out really great. I only had to sit out the majority of the toasts, and I cannot tell you how grateful I am that Ian can take care of things on his own! He definitely rose to the occasion, and the toast pictures look great.

Enough about that, this is about Kristin and Derek, not me...

Aww! I think this one is so cute! Kristin and Dad.

This is a first! Kristin was a cheerleader, so she did a stunt, with the help of some of her fellow college cheerleaders...in her wedding dress, no less!

Kristin and Derek, don't worry! I had way more good pictures than I could put on here! We didn't let you down!

Classy Cups

This is really fun. We had a nice change of pace, taking product images for Classy Cups Cupcakes. We don't get to do product as often as I would like, seeing as I do have experience in that as well as portraiture. They are a company just starting out, with lots of fun ideas. I really hope all goes great for them. The shoot went well...

...Ian only smashed one cupcake, lol.

We're on Facebook!
