Fit for a King (or Queen)

Rose and Courtney are a very sweet couple. Their ceremony was at Woodlawn Chapel Presbyterian, in Ellisville, with the reception following at the Doubletree in Chesterfield. We had fun working with them and everyone seemed to have a really fun evening, which is always good to see.

Pretty flowers and cake!

Rose's brother gave Courtney a crown, which Rose slyly stole for herself...great moment.

Rose's dad was so cute. He is quite the dancer! He danced with all the girls.

Everything was lovely, congratulations you two!

Short and Sweet

Here are Christina and Scott, who had a simple ceremony at the Chase Park Plaza. They invited only immediate family, which shows just how important their families are to them. We took pictures by the Grand Basin and the Jewel Box. They had a beautiful day for everything!

Congrats Christina and Scott!

St. Louie to Sorrento

Bridal Session time, YAY! Can you tell I love doing these?...so fun and girly. This is Melody - she is getting married this month in Sorrento, Italy. Sadly, we are not going along...we are so jealous. Anyway, we had a lot of with Melody and her brother, who came along to get a couple shots of the two of them for Mom. We did the session around the Grand Basin and The Muny.

These guys let us take a couple of golf shots with their equipment, so thanks guys!

Melody, I hope everything goes fabulously in Italy! Again,...so jealous!

Two of a Kind

Here is the wedding of Bonnie and Eric. Their ceremony was at Sacred Heart Church in Valley Park, with the reception later that evening at The Heart of St. Charles. They had a day that couldn't have possibly been better, weather wise. Not too cool, not to warm...just right. You can tell that these two know and understand each other completely. They are definitely on the sam page in life, which is always good.

The priest surprised Bonnie and Eric by reading sweet letters they had written to each other during the ceremony.

Such a pretty color!

Congrats you two!

Wedding on the Road

We went to Cedar Rapids, IA to do April and Alex's wedding. Their ceremony was at Christ Episcopal Church, and thier reception was at the Lowe Park Pavilion, which was very pretty. We were a little concerned earlier in the year, with the flood and all, but luckily their wedding wasn't affected in any way. April and Alex are very laid back people and we enjoyed working with them. This was the first in our block of fall weddings. It was also nice to shoot somewhere so new to us.

LOVE IT!!!

Some pretty details of the day...

These guys were OUR entertainment for the evening. They did all the classic corny dance moves, they had choreographed dances...I don't know if they were trying to entertain anyone but themselves, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. Photography can't really capture all the dancing craziness, but trust me, it was awesome.

Congrats April and Alex!
