Angela and Frank were married at St. Agatha Church, in Soulard, with the reception following at The Cedars. The look and feel of this wedding was "classic fall colors with a dash of international flair". Angela's family is from Albania and guests came to St. Louis literally from all over the world for Angela and Frank's big day.
Everything went smoothly - until the wedding party's bus broke down...twice. The first time was at Ted Drewes. The driver got a jump and the bus was on it's way...until it completely died - this time in the middle of the street. Luckily, we were right behind them and we piled Angela and Frank into our itty bitty Mini and got to the reception. A caravan of cars went to rescue the wedding party shortly after. What a memorable evening! Everything got right back on track and the reception was a fantastic party!
Broken bus :(
In Albanian tradition, Angela and Frank had a dollar dance...it's a bit different than the usual American version, and we think a lot more entertaining! All the guests circle the bride and groom as they dance, and people come up an put dollars on them.
Congrats Angela and Frank!
