Laura & Jordan - Engagement

Laura and Jordan’s engagement session took place at the Shaw Nature Reserve, a place that means a lot to them.  Jordan spent a lot of time there growing up and Laura and Jordan still visit often.  The weather forecast was calling for storms all day.   We all decided to take our chances and do our session anyway, since Laura is moving to Oklahoma with Jordan and it would be difficult to reschedule.  We are so glad we went ahead with everything!  You just can’t beat pre-storm skies.  The colors of the grass and trees were so fantastic and saturated. It looked like we were shooting in a much more tropical climate.

Colleen & Eric - Wedding

Colleen and Eric were married at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis, with the reception following at the Chase Park Plaza. Colleen and Eric’s wedding had something none of our other weddings have had this summer...rain! The remnants of Hurricane Isaac came north from the Gulf of Mexico, bringing some much-needed rain. Everything worked out though. The rain stopped long enough for us to get pictures in the park. We also went to Anheuser Busch, to get some pictures where Colleen and Eric work, and where they first met!

This little guy was Eric's when he was little.  He now plays the role of Colleen and Eric's "Roaming Gnome", posing in pictures on their trips around the world.  Colleen got him a tux for the occasion :)
